Each year, Judge David and the Task Force members work diligently to bring quality speakers to Boone County for Judge David's Annual Community In-Service. The topics are selected according to an indicated level of interest by you, the attendees, as well as current situations affecting our young people.
Presenters for the 2003 In-Service will be:
Todd Meyer, Boone County Prosecuting Attorney - "Mobilizing our Community in an Effort to Curb Underage Drinking."
Sam Rhine of the Genetic Ed Center - "Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Substance Abuse"
Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor - "The Brain-101" A focus on the adolescent brain (how it functions and malfunctions.)
